Look at me accomplishing a goal!! Two weeks in a row of telling you all about my life, albeit briefly.
I came across this meme on Instagram yesterday, and it sure hits the nail on the head! No matter how much I try and plan ahead, there’s always stuff to be doing before school, after school, in the evenings, and on the weekends. My freshmen are reading short stories, which I actually dislike immensely from a planning standpoint. There is constant turnover, and it is really hard to get kids caught up when we’re moving on every 2nd or 3rd day. My juniors are reading The Crucible, which is going well so far. I seem to have a relatively shy bunch (at least compared to last year, whoa!), but I think they’ll come out of their shells in a few more weeks.

I spent Saturday proctoring the ACT and being super productive at school. A nap was well-deserved at that point, obviously! 😉 Mom and I watch The Maze Runner movie before I called it a night. This morning Mom and I baked two breakfast muffins for the week: Cinnamon Apple Oat and Banana Oat with Chocolate Chips! YUM!
I’m off to work at school for a little while before spending some time with my favorite little babysitting girls (and their parents)! Happy Sunday all ❤
